I am GlassDev, the lead producer on Project Sustain. I would like to first begin by introducing the project and where it is at currently. From our description, you can see that we have put a decent amount of effort into the systematic concepts behind this game. We are currently moving forward into a development period of art foundations and visual elements. We are working hard to deliver new screenshots regularly and can't wait to share more with you in the future!
The Prototyping Stage:
While we have been working thoroughly on visual appeal, we yet have much work ahead of us. Creating a prototype means that we've got to establish some of the core mechanics of the game in order to see if its entertaining, and simple in terms that it isn't too difficult to understand. We currently have split the main prototype in half so that we have plenty of time in between to make changes and updates. While we seem rather open about the state of the game, we will not be distributing these builds publicly. Instead, we will be privately testing it and continuing from there. We will however, be providing short clips and screenshots to give you more of an insight of what is currently underway.
The Alpha Stage:
If all goes well, we will be moving to the Alpha stage of development. The Alpha version of Project Sustain will be avaliable publicly on this platform. From there, we will update the game with more core mechanics and improvements for your enjoyment, as well as provide patches and fixes if demand is high. We don't have too much more information on the stage of the game after this, but we will keep everyone updated on any major changes in development.
Made With Unity:
Unity is an amazing engine with many possibilities. That is why we have chosen it to be the building platform for our game. Cross-Platforming possibilities are out of this world, and we would like to experiment with some different play areas rather than at a laptop or computer.
Made With Blender:
For those of you who do not know, Blender is an open-source modeling program with many posibilties. We have chosen it for the simplicity of creating and importing art assets directly into Unity 2017.
